Whether you are planning a fundraiser, a holiday party or a team building day, we handle the details and you get a good time at your own event. When you hire Rasha Design House we turn your brief into a room that works.
A wedding has one couple to please. A corporate event has a board, a budget somebody has to defend in a meeting, a communications team with an opinion about the branding, and a room full of employees, donors or clients who will judge the whole organisation on how the evening ran.
It also usually lands on someone who already has a full job. Most of the corporate enquiries we get come from an executive assistant, a marketing manager or a development director who has been handed an event on top of everything else, six weeks out, with a venue that is nearly booked and a budget that has already been approved.
That is the work we take. Not the idea, which you usually have. The two hundred small things between the idea and the evening.

Venue
Sourcing, site visits, capacity and layout checks, and reading the contract properly, including the load-in window, the noise rules, the outside vendor policy and what is actually included in the room rate.

Vendors
Catering and bar, audiovisual and staging, lighting, rentals, entertainment, photography, security and staffing. Sourced, quoted, contracted and scheduled.

Design and branding
Room design, stage and set, signage, table design, printed materials and the way your brand appears in the space. Working from your brand guidelines when you have them.

Run of show
A minute by minute production schedule covering speeches, awards, the auction, the meal service and the music, distributed to every vendor and to your internal team.

Budget management
A working budget with the vendor costs laid out, payment deadlines tracked, and the documentation your finance team will ask for after the event.

On the night
We are on site from the first vendor arrival to the last load-out. Vendors report to us. If the AV goes down during a speech, that is our problem and not your chief executive's.
Fundraisers and galas
Nonprofit fundraising evenings where the design has to look generous without looking like the money went on the room. Auction flow, donor seating, programme timing and the awkward middle stretch between dinner and the ask.
Holiday parties
Booked far later than they should be, every year. Houston venues for December fill in September. If you are reading this in October, call today.
Team building days
Off-site days that are actually planned, with catering that arrives on time and a schedule that respects people's evenings.
Client appreciation and award nights
Smaller rooms, higher stakes per guest, and a running order that has to hold attention without dragging.
Company milestones
Anniversaries, openings and launches, where the event carries a message and the room has to support it.
This is worth saying plainly, because a lot of organisations assume the opposite.
An internal team plans one or two events a year. We do this constantly, which means we know the going rate, we know which line items on a venue quote are negotiable, and we know which vendors quote high and deliver average. Vendors also behave differently with someone they expect to see again next month.
Then there is the cost nobody puts in the spreadsheet: the six weeks your marketing manager spends on logistics instead of the job you hired them for. That is real money and it never shows up in the event budget.
We do not take commission from vendors. Our fee comes from you, which means when we recommend a caterer it is because they are right for your event.
Scoping call
Headcount, date, budget range, what the event is for and what has to happen in the room. Thirty minutes is usually enough.
Written proposal
A fixed planning fee and a defined scope, so whoever signs it knows exactly what they are approving.
Build
Venue, vendors, design, run of show. You get a single point of contact and a schedule of what needs deciding when. We chase everything else.
The event
We are there before anyone and we leave after the trucks. Your team attends the event as guests.
After
Final vendor reconciliation and the documentation your finance team needs.
Corporate events are quoted per event after a scoping conversation. Headcount, venue, production requirements and lead time move the number more than anything else does, so a published package would be misleading in both directions.
What we can tell you before the call: our fee is fixed, it is written into the proposal, and it does not scale with what you spend on the room.
Houston and the surrounding region, including Tomball, Spring, Cypress, Katy, Sugar Land and The Woodlands. We have worked further out including Bryan and College Station. If the event is elsewhere in Texas, ask.
Three to six months is comfortable and gives you a real choice of venue and caterer. Shorter is often workable, particularly outside the December and spring seasons, and we have taken events on six weeks. What shrinks with the timeline is the range of venues still available, not the quality of the evening.
Yes, and that is how most of our corporate work runs. Your team owns the message, the branding and the guest list. We own the venue, the vendors, the production and the run of show. One person on your side is the decision maker and everything routes through them.
We source and manage the AV and staging vendors, brief them from the run of show, and hold them to the schedule on the day. We are not an AV company ourselves, which is deliberate. It means we can put the right supplier on your event rather than the one we happen to own equipment for.
Yes. Fundraisers and galas are a regular part of our corporate work, and Rasha sits on a nonprofit board herself, so the pressures are familiar. Nonprofit events get particular attention on the tension between a room that looks generous and a budget that donors will scrutinise.
The date or date range, the approximate headcount, the type of event, whether a venue is already booked, and the budget range you are working within. If you do not have a budget yet, say so and we will give you realistic ranges for what you have described.
Send us the brief, even a rough one. We will come back with an honest read on what is achievable in your timeline and budget.
