Luxury wedding and event
planning in Houston

Creating the moments of today that will wow your heart tomorrow.

Rasha Design House plans and designs weddings, corporate events and private celebrations across Houston and the towns around it. We are a small studio on purpose. Rasha takes a limited number of events a year, which means the person you meet in your first consultation is the same person standing at the back of the room when your doors open.

Most people find us after the spreadsheets have stopped helping. You have the venue quotes, the vendor lists and a folder of saved images, and somewhere in the middle of it you realised the hard part was never picking linens. The hard part is holding two hundred moving pieces together while still enjoying your own party. That is the part we take off your hands.

What We Do

Weddings

Full planning and design for couples who want the whole thing handled, from the first vendor call to the last song. We source the team, build the timeline, design the look and run the day. Full wedding planning starts at $8,900.

Corporate events

Fundraisers, holiday parties and team building days for Houston companies and nonprofits. You keep your job. We handle the venue, the vendors, the run of show and everything that usually lands on someone's assistant at 11pm.

Social events

Birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, baby showers, quinceaneras, galas and private parties. You bring the guest list. We design and produce the rest.

Marketing and consulting

A referral-only service for venues and restaurants, covering small business development, marketing strategy and organic social media growth.

Why clients hire us

Rasha spent more than a decade inside the wedding industry and worked on several hundred events before launching Rasha Design House in 2021. That matters less as a number than as a habit. After a few hundred load-ins you stop being surprised, and you start building plans that already account for the caterer who runs late and the flower order that arrives two boxes short.

She graduated with high honors from Rutgers University in design and marketing, which is an unusual pairing for a planner and shows up in the work. The design side is why our tablescapes photograph the way they do. The marketing side is why we think about how a room reads to a guest walking in for the first time, and why our consulting clients are venues and restaurants rather than other planners.

Rasha has lived in several countries and now calls Houston home. Our client list looks like Houston does. We have designed a Vietnamese couple’s first dance under sparklers at The Bougainvilleas, a South Asian and Korean fusion ceremony on the water in Corpus Christi, and a wedding for a Chinese bride and a Spanish groom at The Bell Tower. Cultural detail is not something we ask a couple to explain and then approximate. We ask, we research, and we get it right.

Rasha Design House is listed among the best wedding planners in Houston by H-Town Best. Rasha also sits on a nonprofit board and works as an advocate for women’s empowerment, which is where a good share of her time goes when she is not in a ballroom.

Weddings we have designed

Our work runs across the Houston region and beyond it. A short list of where you will find it:

The Weinberg at Wixon Valley in Bryan, where we built a country chic reception around farm tables, crystal candelabras and a custom monogram dance floor, and sent the couple out through fireworks in a classic Cadillac.

Sandlewood Manor in Tomball, where a pastel floral bridge ran the length of the wooden farm tables and the couple poured a champagne tower in front of their guests.

The Peach Orchard in Spring, done in white and blush roses with enough baby's breath to soften every hard edge in the room.

Sans Souci Ballroom in Tomball, a black and white reception with a geometric dance floor and crystal vases.

A Thousand Oaks Events and Retreats in Cypress, purple and gold on the tables and an emerald green cake in the portraits.

The Bell Tower in Houston, including a seating chart built to look like a wall of books.

How the planning works

The first conversation

A call, no charge, no pitch deck. You tell us what you are planning, roughly when, and roughly what you want to spend. We tell you honestly whether we are the right studio for it. Some of the best calls we have had ended with a referral somewhere else.

Design

Before a single vendor is booked we build the visual direction: the palette, the florals, the linens, the paper, the floor, the lighting. You see it as a whole, not as twelve separate decisions made months apart.

Build

We source and contract the vendor team, hold every deadline, manage the payment schedule and keep one running timeline that every supplier works from. You approve. We chase.

The day

We arrive first and leave last. Vendors report to us, not to you. If something goes sideways at 4pm you will usually hear about it on Monday, if at all.

What it costs

Full wedding planning starts at $8,900. Where a wedding lands above that depends on guest count, how many days it runs and how much design and production the event needs. Corporate and social event pricing is quoted per event, because a two hundred person gala and a fiftieth birthday dinner are not the same job.

We will tell you early if your budget and your vision are not going to meet. That conversation is more useful in February than in September.

Where we work

Houston is home. We regularly work in Tomball, Spring, Cypress, Katy, Sugar Land and The Woodlands, and we travel for the right event. Recent work has taken us to Bryan and College Station and down to the water in Corpus Christi. If your venue is outside the region, ask. Travel is usually workable.

A love note

“First i would like to give Rasha 10 stars for being a life saver, due to the pandemic we were forced to shrink our wedding ceremony. Rasha was patient, understanding and very helpful she made sure everything was perfect.”

Common questions

How far in advance should I book a wedding planner in Houston?

Twelve to eighteen months out is comfortable for a full planning wedding, mostly because the venues and photographers you want get taken that far ahead. We have taken shorter timelines and made them work. If your date is inside six months, call rather than email, because availability moves quickly.

Full wedding planning at Rasha Design House starts at $8,900. Across the wider market, couples in the United States commonly spend somewhere between a few thousand dollars for day-of coordination and well into five figures for full planning and design, and the range is wide because the services behind those words are wide. Ask any planner exactly what is included before you compare two numbers.

A venue coordinator works for the venue. Their job is the building: what time you get in, where the tables go, what the venue’s staff will and will not do. A planner works for you, from before the venue is chosen until after the last guest leaves, and is responsible for the vendors, the design and the day itself. Most venues that provide a coordinator will still recommend you hire a planner.

Yes, and a good share of our portfolio is exactly that. We have planned Vietnamese, South Asian, Korean, Chinese and Spanish celebrations and the fusion weddings that come from two families meeting in the middle. We do the research on the traditions that matter to your family rather than asking you to project manage your own culture.

No. Houston and the surrounding towns are where most of our work sits, but we travel. Weddings we have designed include venues in Bryan, College Station, Tomball, Spring, Cypress and Corpus Christi.
